Press Release Body: Dr. Thira Jearsiripongkul, Director of the TEP & TEPE project, commented that, under the Twinning Engineering Programme (TEP), students will earn two engineering degrees from Thammasat University and joint university they choose to pursue either The University of Nottingham in England or The University of New South Wales in Australia. Both universities have well-deserved international reputation for offering world class academic curriculums and cutting-edge engineering researches. More importantly, graduates from both universities are eligible to enroll for the postgraduate programs at education institutions in Australia and Britain without processing English test. This is an opportunity not to be missed for undergraduates studying aboard.
The Thammasat English Programme of Engineering (TEPE) is an engineering course conducted in English that all academic sessions are being attended at Thammasat University. Its objectives are to enhance engineering students' English skills to effectively and fluently communicate in everyday life. The 2008 academic year has offered even more financial aids through scholarships and the better opportunity to apprentice in the world's leading companies such as Triumph Motorcycle, British manufacturer of premium motorcycle with three factories operating in Thailand. The TEPE undergraduates will possibly have an advantage to receive companies' scholarships as well as are eligible to be recruited as their staffers. Additionally, TEPE students will also have an opportunity to enroll for the other exchange programs with leading universities in Britain, the United State, Germany, Australia, Belgium, Japan and etc.
"Both TEP and TEPE students are opened to many fields of scholastic achievements and experiences while gaining internationally-standard engineering skills and the ability to clearly and effectively communicate in English, because the courses have been conducted in English that meets international-standard quality," Dr. Thira further remarked.

### About TEP & TEPE
The Twinning Engineering Programmes (TEP) was established in 1996 as a joint effort between the Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University and the University of Nottingham, England. This programme has proved to be successful in developing well-trained engineers for Thai and international industries. In a continuing effort to provide more choice and diversity of engineering education for our students, we extended our collaboration to the Faculty of Engineering, the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2006.
The Thammasat English Programme of Engineering (TEPE), established in 2002, is an engineering course conducted in English with objectives to take engineering study at local institution into international-level standard to guarantee that undergraduates under the programs will gain both basic engineering and English skills in international-standard quality.
